Now in its 28th year,  I have been art editor and designer for arq (architecture research quarterly) since 1999. Each issue looks to evolve the design of the journal to maintain it fresh, academic feel. In 2002 arq was awarded the ‘Charlesworth Group Award for typographic excellence’.
